INDIAN STUDENTS ASSOCIATION : Colorado School of Mines |
Welcome to the home page of the Indian Students Association (ISA) at the Colorado School of Mines. We are affiliated to the University's International Services and Diversity Programs and a recognized organization by the School. The Indian Students Association is a non-profit organization for all the students from India. Our objectives are to promote service and leadership opportunities. We know how tough it is to travel to a totally new country, thousands of miles away from home and settle down into a student's life there. We aim to help new students with the educational and social issues that they may face at the School and be the Indian link for them. Indian Students Association (ISA) is an organization of over 50 Indian students, faculty and families in and around Golden. The primary aim of the organization is to foster kinship amongst all Indians, promote and celebrate Indian culture and tradition, and enjoy the American experience to the fullest. The active participation and support of our members help us achieve this. We thank Dr. Sumit Agarwal (Faculty Advisor, ISA) and Ms. Alyda Morosco, (Office of International Programs and Services) for their continued support and encouragement. |
